01 TRAINING
At the initiation of each project, we conduct a needs assessment of the client’s requirements. This is followed by an introduction to the system and tailored training for the use of the CAPAI app in your specific context.
02 CAPAI APP
A comprehensive, offline-first application with direct integration to our data viewing platform for data submission and analysis. It is simple and user-friendly, and set-up in local language with preloaded local species lists.
The application can also show progress towards goals, individual accomplishments, local leaderboards, newsletters, and learning materials such as how to produce good observations.
03 VERIFICATION
Our team of internal and external experts reviews and verifies data submissions after AI screening to ensure species IDs are correct. They also nominate images for reward programmes, such as Photo of Month and Top Observers.
04 MAINTAINING ENGAGEMENT
We produce monthly newsletters and manage communications (advanced packages), and write content for sustainability reports. We can advise on suitable reward and incentive systems for participants, whether they are local community members or company workers.
05 ANALYTICS + REPORTING
For Enhanced and Premium packages, we turn biodiversity observations into actionable insights through species occupancy modelling, presence and abundance statistics, species trends, and ecological indices combining species and habitat data with context specific detection probability. We can also provide report-ready data and analysis to support sustainability and biodiversity reporting.
